Currently looking for a few parents to help us plan and prepare for Teacher Appreciation Week. This is happening the first full week in May. This is an excellent time to recognize the teachers and staff who work so hard to provide an outstanding opportunity for our students. The Spring Book Fair is in the end of March and we are currently looking for a few parents to serve on a committee to help make this event a success. You would work with the Chair for this event to help set up and take down the Book Fair, run the Family Reading Night Out event, and guarantee that it runs successfully. This volunteer would be responsible for coordinating the collection of Box Tops for Education throughout the year. You would be able to host creative ways to encourage and reward students and classrooms for their participation in this opportunity. You would be responsible for preparing collected items and mailing them to appropriate companies and redeeming selected merchandise for Underwood Focus School. You would communicate quarterly to the Parent Pride Group on collections.
